Up here on the mezzanine the bottom of the beams are only six feet. No real way to hide them - they need to exit the desk <i>somewhere</i>! @Aaron Google "transparent desktop" - there are some that are really creative! Also I had done a stick welding class in college so after learning TIG I was able to play around and pick up MIG with about 5 min of instruction. Good luck on your project! It's just a 25 foot cable run - the video & audio cables were no problem but I had to use a USB extender for the mouse/keyboard. Thanks for the compliments!

I find MIG incredibly easy in comparison with TIG, however i suppose my welds are pretty messy!
